Quant Methods

Ten weeks in Python. You leave with a strategy package a CIO would actually read.

You leave with

Working Strategy Package

A reproducible GitHub repository, a research notebook that runs end to end, and a CIO memo that states the case in two pages.

  • 01GitHub repository — runs from a clean clone
  • 02Research notebook — every figure reproducible
  • 03CIO memo — two pages, no hedging

Next cohort starts 14 Sept 2026 · enrolment closes 10 Sept 2026 · 13 of 30 seats left

Who it is for

If none of these is you, the free lesson will tell you faster than we can.

1

Developers who can write Python but have never validated a signal

2

Quant-adjacent analysts who want a defensible research process

3

Graduates of Quant Foundations ready to implement the framework

By the end you can

  • Build a backtest that does not lie to you
  • Kill your own strategy before the market does
  • Size positions from a risk model, not a hunch
  • Ship research that another person can reproduce

Curriculum

demo → lab, in that order

The demo notebook is complete, commented code you read and run. The lab notebook is the same task with the interesting parts replaced by TODO stubs. You write those.

Data and reproducibility

Python 3.11+, pinned requirements.txt, daily data via yfinance on liquid US ETFs, and a parquet cache in the course repo so a network outage never blocks a lab. SEED=42, always.

Tiers

Same lectures. Different amount of us.

Tiers do not gate content. They differ by review, support and rhythm — the parts that need a human and a calendar.
